You messing with me? I kick you butt!

In the name of Allah, compassionate & merciful بِسْمِ اللهِ الرَّحْمنِ الرَّحِيمِ
Peace be with you السلام عليكم

am frustrated, angry and deadline is looming. I hate depending on other people to get things done. HATE IT. with a passion. In other news I was told I couldn't use the silhouette of a butterfly in my logo for Niqab Life because we can't have pictures of animals. ARGH! Where do people get these ideas from?

make du'a for me before I cuss someone out!

oh yeahhhh thats right! I loved the butterfly, it was super beautiful. But yeah its haraam...darn. Do you have any other ideas? I'm making dua for you, sister!

@Al. No it isn't haraam since it is not an image but a silhouette which is essentially a shadow. Seeing that is the logo with the most votes it seems that's going to be the one.

May Allah SWT make this easier for you!!!

Krystal, as much as we value our husbands, we need to be able to fight our own battles too. The female sahaba (Companions) showed great strength, as did the males. Generally, marriage is about partnership and cohesive family units, not the male being totally dominant. The wives of the Prophet (SAW) used to argue with him and they talked through decisions. So inshaAllah Tuttie can work this out with all of our love and support and her hubby can help her if she needs it.

well its my fault for asking for opinions so I technically asked for it. My hubs told me having shadows of animals or humans is halal and to proceed as I choose to and people will either fall in to line or leave.

Good for you Tuttie,I hope for a wonderful outcome in regard to the competition and everyting to do with your buisness on the Internet, and I'm so excited to see what unfolds in the turn of events, what a thrill you have for us Tuttie,in sight.

I tell you when your husband made the wise decision to marry you,he married up.I guess you turned out so well mainly because there was so much that came against in your tough young life.

Like my mom always says:"Always follow suit".And that's what you do,keep on doing the work you do, precious lady you are goodness personified. My mom always said I would be like her famous poet aunt Jacobina Johnson of Seatlle in America, and I always listen to my mamma.
